Information you enter
Calculator measurements are processed in your browser to show a result. If you choose Save result to project plan, the displayed result and its inputs are stored in your browser under measure-mend-project-plan-v1. Measure & Mend does not provide an account or server database for those saved plans. Avoid entering addresses, names, permit identifiers, or other personal information in calculator fields.
The project-plan page can create a share link. Its #plan= fragment contains up to five displayed saved results and is not sent to the site as part of a normal HTTP request. Anyone who receives the link can read those included values, so review it before sharing. Calendar reminder files are also created in the browser. Clearing the plan removes its browser storage.
Aggregate Cloudflare analytics
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and uses Cloudflare Web Analytics through Pages' automatic beacon injection. The repository does not contain a manually installed Cloudflare beacon or site token. Cloudflare describes this service as cookie-free web analytics that provides aggregated visits, page views, referrers, device information, geography, and Core Web Vitals.
Measure & Mend also sends a short, first-party event name for a limited set of actions such as completing a calculator, saving or returning to a project plan, opening a related next step, downloading a calendar reminder, or allowing ads. The request uses no account ID, advertising ID, cookie, calculator measurement, project-plan content, or share-link fragment. The Cloudflare Analytics Engine dataset receives only the approved event name, a broad page surface, and a count. The site does not send these events when the browser exposes Do Not Track: 1.
Cloudflare's automatic script may be added to production HTML at the edge after deployment, and Cloudflare processes requests to the first-party event endpoint as the hosting provider. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its handling of data.
Optional advertising
When advertising is configured, the site may offer a labeled Monetag Direct Link. MultiTag is a separate format that remains off unless it has passed navigation and interaction checks. Before you make a choice, the page does not request an external advertising script, register an advertising service worker, or activate the Direct Link. If you allow ads, the Direct Link becomes available; if a reviewed build also enables MultiTag, its supplier script loads once and may use cookies or similar technology under the supplier's policy. If you decline, the calculators and editorial content remain available.
The choice is stored only in your browser under measure-mend-ad-consent-v1. Use the Ad privacy choices control in the footer to review or change it. Clearing site storage also removes the saved choice.
Advertising safeguards
- One advertising provider can be active in a build.
- Sponsored links are labeled and use
rel="sponsored noopener noreferrer". - The site does not implement forced redirects, automatic clicks, automatic refreshes, hidden frames, or incentivized traffic.
- Preview builds can keep advertising disabled.
Contact and retention
Saved calculator inputs remain in your browser unless you share or clear them; they are not written to the aggregate event dataset. Cloudflare and any advertising provider that you allow apply their own retention and legal terms. Use the contact page for a privacy question; do not include sensitive personal information.
