What to check through the year

  1. Spring

    Inspect exposed finishes, joints, and roof drainage.

    Condition records prevent blind recoating.

  2. Summer

    Measure attic depth and displaced areas.

    Several readings are more useful than one deep spot.

  3. Fall

    Review air leaks and approved fixture clearances.

    Sealing and top-up must preserve safe details.
